Way back when, Queen Latifah had a song on unity (U-N-I-T-Y she spelled it out for us). Looks like there’s a new call for unity as the democratic party attempts to reconcile its two halves. The question is what does unity mean for the party and in general for all of us?

Clearly, unity is not just coming together for a rally. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s necessary to start somewhere. Where do you go from the rally? How do you really bring people back together, bridge the gap, and close the riff? Or is it possible to have unity without harmony?

Hmmm. Interesting things to think about.
