Accompaniment

Resource, product, or service that that goes along with other offerings.

Ad Hoc Groups

Informal groups of people, such as church members, friends, family and colleagues, who have common goals.

affirmation

The act of using a positive statement or declaration of something being true.

antimicrobial

astringent

Ayurvedic Medicine

A group coaching program that stands alone (i.e., is not part of a Session, Verse, or Prelude.

coach

Help people discover their own solutions to challenges and take advantage of opportunities.

complete success

The experience of inner wholeness and outer manifestation of one’s potential for the highest good of one’s self and others. It is the achievement of inner and outer success at the individual or organizational levels.

Composer

Tool for making or creating something.

Composition

A book, video, or other product.

Conductor

Person who facilitates an educational program.

Conscious Life Song

The thought patterns that influence every aspect of one’s life.

consonance

Harmony in one’s life.

Contemplation Diet

A change program that entails focused and conscious thinking.

core self

Intersection of one’s mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects to form one’s personal and spiritual essence—ego and spirit. It is the storehouse for one’s human software.

The act of inhaling and exhaling in a complete and conscious manner.

Desire Diet

A change program that entails focused and consistent thinking and acting on an intended outcome.

Duet

An individual coaching program that stands alone (i.e., is not part of a Session, Verse, or Prelude).

Duo

A partner support program (e.g., buddy system) that is usually in conjunction with a Chorus or Crescendo.

One’s personal essence, including value perception (self-worth) and freedom of choice (will).

Encore

A follow-up individual or group coaching meeting to accompany a change program (i.e., solo Encore or group Encore).

Energy

Electromagnetic field or vibrational aspect of one’s being.

Ensemble

A virtual group coaching program for individuals in the global organization.

essential oils

An unpolished work.

Focused Action

For-Profit Corporations

Small, medium, and large businesses that seek to generate revenue in order to return a profit to the owners.

fragmented self

A self that is not in an optimal state due to mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual dis-ease.

Membership-based organizations that serve professionals in specific or general careers or interests.

group dynamics

The act of facilitating interaction, synergy, and support within a group of people to increase benefits to each group member.

People (employees, clients, members, etc.) who are an organization’s richest resource.

human computer

The faculties (human hardware) and directives (human software) that govern one’s whole-self.

human hardware

Mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional faculties for thinking, doing, being, and feeling. These faculties process mental, physical, spiritual, or emotional directives (human software).

human software

Mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional patterns that influence one’s thinking, doing, being, and feeling. Patterns can be involuntary (e.g., breathing and blood flow) and voluntary (e.g., feeling fear and having a belief).

hydrosols

Something that is done without prior preparation (improvised).

inquiry

The act of using questions or open-ended statements to guide a search for information, knowledge, or truth on a topic.

integrated self

A self that is in an optimal state at all levels of being so that one can operate synergistically.

A teleclass or other introductory program.

The act of writing (guided or freeform) to express one’s self, record insights, or guide a search for information, knowledge, or truth on a topic.

mantra

A word or phrase that is repeated silently or aloud.

Masterpiece

An individual who is a model of self-allegiance—committed to experiencing optimal health, operating from wholeness, achieving complete success, and serving others from one’s best self. It is also an organization that adheres to these principles.

Masterpiece Organization

A people-centered organization that strategically invests in its employees, members, or clients (human assets) and understands that doing so benefits its customers and its bottom-line, thus enabling it to experience complete success. It has policies and structures to enhance engagement within the organization. It provides training to help the individual develop his or her Masterpiece Self.

Masterpiece Self

A self that is characterized by high self-worth and wholeness such that one is an inner great work (masterpiece) and creates more extraordinary outer great works, thus enabling her or him to experience complete success.

Masterpiece Soul

A talented individual who exists to refine one’s self (the Masterpiece Self) to be a great work and to create great works in the outer world. This person’s existence is characterized by a record of major achievements (typically as an entrepreneur or leader) coupled with an experience of doubt, anxiety, and stress due to self-worth questions that eat at the person despite one’s accomplishments. The practice of self-allegiance is essential for this person to develop their Masterpiece Self.

meditation

The act of relaxing, centering, and focusing mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a guided (based on instructions) or unguided (freeform) manner. One may sit still or move around while meditating.

Movement

One part of a larger change program (e.g., a Symphony broken into separate parts).

nourishment

nutriment

Anything that nourishes, sustains, promotes growth or development, replaces loss, or provides energy so that physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental wellness increases.

optimal health

A state of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual equilibrium in which there is adequate inflow of nutriments and adequate outflow of toxins at all levels of being.

An organizational consulting program.

Outplacement Agencies

Firms that support executives and professionals to transition to new careers or jobs.

People-centered Organization

A group that invests in its people understanding that people are the group’s richest resource and that doing so benefits individuals within and outside of the organization.

Performance

A spoken-word presentation or solo play.

pledge

An affirmative contract that one creates, commits to, and uses to inform one’s existence. The act of pledging involves an active commitment and ongoing effort to follow one’s contract (the pledge).

Prelude

An introductory keynote presentation.

Professional Business Associations

Membership-based organizations that serve business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs.

Progression

An individual consulting program.

Follow-up activities to accompany a change program (i.e., the practice).

Resolution

Resource, product, or service that helps people to resolve issues.

Self

self-acceptance

Embracing the totality of one’s self. It includes loving all aspects of one’s self and experiences rather than rejecting, resisting, or judging. It requires one to remain neutral about his existence.

self-actualization

Operating from one’s full potential. For the highest good of all, one is being fully who she is, doing what she is here to do, and having what she desires to have.

self-allegiance

The practice of intentional self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-care, and self-expression. It is an active commitment to experiencing optimal health, operating from wholeness, achieving complete success, and serving others from one’s best self.

self-awareness

Knowing the true nature of one’s self. It includes having an inner sense or knowing (consciousness) of who one is, why one exists (purpose or mission), and what one can offer to others (talents or skills).

self-care

Nurturing one’s self to promote wholeness.

self-esteem

One’s perceived value based on outer factors like accomplishments, status, talents, appearance, or possessions.

self-expression

Sharing fully one’s true nature (self-awareness). It includes carrying out one’s mission or purpose and using one’s gifts or skills to serve others.

self-worth

One’s perceived value based on: (1) outer factors like accomplishments, traits, or possessions (self-esteem); or (2) inner factors like being or existing, independent of anything else (intrinsic worth).

Session

An in-depth face-to-face or virtual change program. Various exercises and resources are used to engage the participant’s whole-self in the change process. Exercises may include meditations, affirmations, visualizations, journaling, coaching, moving, and sharing. Resources may include music, tuning forks, and nourishing foods. Session is the short form of Jam Session.

sharing

The act of expressing one’s thoughts, insights, or experiences to another individual or a group of individuals.

Show

A media program offered to the global organization.

Spirit

One’s spiritual or divine essence (e.g., soul, chi, energy, higher self, life force, or prana).

SQ

Measure of one’s ability to experience complete success based on the effort that one puts into self-care as compared to all efforts. More succinctly, success quotient = self-care effort / all effort.

Suite

A collection of resources (e.g., the inner-self meditation suite or meditation suites).

Symphony

An extensive change program that is not broken down into separate parts or Movements (i.e., all movements completed at once).

tonic

Herb, beverage, or other substance that improves health.

toxin

Anything that starves, stops, impedes growth or development, causes loss, or depletes energy so that physical, spiritual, emotional, or mental wellness decreases.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

tuning fork

A metal instrument with two prongs that gives a fixed tone and vibration when struck. The emitted tone and vibration can influence the electromagnetic field of people.

Vegetarian

An active seminar presentation.

Virtuoso

Person who has notable skill or mastery in an area.

visualization

The act of making mental images or viewing physical images in a guided (based on instructions) or unguided (freeform) manner.
